Night Fight

The majority of officer involved shootings occur during the hours of darkness. To safely respond to a domestic call, a robbery in progress or to serve a warrant you must be prepared to fight in the dark. Our Night Fight course teaches how to use darkness as an ally and the flashlight as a weapon. You will learn the most effective skills to win a close quarter confrontation in low light conditions.
You will learn:
Use of typical lighting conditions and dominating with light
Less than ideal and alternative shooting positions
Engagement tactics for teams and partners
Low-light shooting and tactical illumination
Negligent discharge avoidance and safety
Target isolation and threats identification
Engaging multiple and moving targets
Communication in low-light conditions
Stealth movement and visual control
Tactical reload and stoppage drills
Shoot/No shoot decision making
Weapon transition and retention
Shooting on the move
Failure to stop drills
